Neymar finally returned to Paris Saint-Germain this week after being granted an extended summer vacation following his involvement with Brazil at the World Cup.
The striker flew out to China to meet up with the rest of the squad in Shenzhen, where PSG are due to play Monaco in the Trophee des Champions on Saturday.
Of course, with word getting around that Neymar’s plane would be touching down in their city, scores of local fans gathered at the airport to eagerly welcome him and get their memorabilia signed.
After ambling his way through arrivals, Neymar was bussed to PSG’s hotel, where he was reunited with his teammates.
He also had the opportunity to meet a couple of new faces for the first time, including coach Thomas Tuchel and veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who reserved a big hug for the 26-year-old.
